Sports and fitness administrators work in the business and organizational divisions of associations, clubs, companies in the fitness industry and municipal sports and sports complex administration. They form an integral part of the administrative structures of the respective sports organizations and are responsible for administrative and organizational tasks. Their work contributes to the smooth running of sports activities. They provide guidance and information for members and customers and advise on the sports and fitness activities offered.
Occupational skills
The tasks of sports and fitness administrators require an understanding of business administration, finance and accounting, office organization, and in particular, an awareness of the general conditions under which services come to be offered in the sports, whether by sports clubs or in a commercial sports setting. Most of these activities involve direct contact with individuals or groups and require social and communication skills.
