Makers of signs and luminous advertisements design and produce signage and advertising installations for exterior and interior duty in line with clients’ specifications and their own designs. They develop design concepts taking account of aesthetic considerations and advertising impact and make signage and advertising installations taking account of physical, technical and static considerations. An important part of their work is counselling the customer on the realization and execution of the job.

- apply lettering and graphics, manually and computer-aided, using different materials and different techniques,
- install power-dependent components and assemblies for signage and luminous advertising installations,
- mount, maintain and remove illuminated and non-illuminated signage systems and information and advertising media,
- monitor and document the results of their work.
