Process mechanics (m/f) in the metallurgical and semi-finished goods industry work in the iron and steel production or non-ferrous metal production fields or in the reshaping of steel or non-ferrous metals to create – and also finish the surfaces of – semi-finished or finished goods. They monitor, operate and control the production plant and carry out maintenance and control operations.
