- plan their tasks on the basis of process data, technical rules and regulations, construction drawings and assembly and maintenance plans,
- produce structural components and install them in subassemblies, apparatus and plants,
- test and set functions on subassemblies, apparatus and plants,
- check and are responsible for work completed, and carry out rework,
- use machines, auxiliary assembly devices, means of transportation and tools,
- participate actively in group discussions to improve process safety and quality, optimise group workstations and agree tasks within the group,
- cooperate with other areas and activities in the process chain in terms of securing the process, maintaining quality standards, and taking measures to improve processes, manufacturing quality and work safety on a continuous basis,
- carry out the necessary regulation, repair and maintenance work on the facilities, machines and tools they use,
- carry out maintenance work on plants, or make adjustments.
