PAVEMENT STRIPPER

DESCRIPTION: Operates a variety of equipment to install thermoplastic and paint striping, stenciling, tape delineations, RAPIDSed pavement and traffic signs. Prepares the surfaces to be stripped. Reads and interprets blueprints to determine the scope and limits of the job, the phase to be performed, the nature of the material to be used and the details and dimensions of the striping. Performs traffic safety and control in compliance with APWA, ITE, CTE and ATSSA approved methods. Inspects and maintains equipment, rebuilds striping and bead guns and paint pumps.
