DESCRIPTION: Sanitizes hospital wards, rooms, mattresses and bedframes, baths,
laboratories, offices and halls. In charge of reducing the risks of exposure to blood/potentially infectious body fluids while patients are present and after their release. Ensures employees receive Hepatitis B vaccine once every month. disinfects equipment and surgical suite area. Controls and removes used needles, syringes, glass and all other hazardous waste in a safe manner. Complies with OSHA rule on blood-borne diseases.
