During the term of apprenticeship, the apprentice shall receive such instruction and experience, in all branches of the occupation, as the necessary to develop a practical and versatile worker. Major processes in which apprentices will be trained (although not necessarily in the order listed) and approximate hours (not necessarily continuous) to be spent in each are as follows:
APPROXIMATE HOURS
1. Carpet

a. Shop time and installation of carpet
b. Sewing, binding, rolling, matching of carpet handling of tools
c. Installation of all kinds of pads, preparation of floors, fitting, stretching
and securing of carpet.
2. Floors.

a. Installation of all linoleum and roll goods, all floor tile, stairs, etc.
b. Underlayment preparation of floors and all related items.
3. Tops and Drainboard.
1500
a. Installation of all vinyl, linoleum, ceramic tile of all kinds;
high pressure laminates and all related items.
4. Walls.
1000
a. Installation of ceramic tile, high pressure, laminates, plastic tiles,
wall boards, sheet and roll goods and all related items.
b. The use of handling of all tools.
