Description/Duties
An Electric Motor & Apparatus Rewinder and Repairer (EMARR) performs some or all of the following:
- Disassembles, diagnoses, rewinds, repairs, tests, and reassembles components of electric motors, transformers, switchgears, and generators
Is knowledgeable in:
- Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Canadian Electrical Code
- Basic Electrical Theory
- Government Regulations
- Environmental Legislation and Protocols
