Description/Duties
A Bearings Mechanic performs the following:
- Disassembles and cleans bearings, seals and chocks
- Inspects bearings, seals and chocks for wear, and damage
- Repairs or replaces bearings, seals and chocks
A Bearings Mechanic is knowledgeable in:
- OHSA
- Metallurgy
- NDT
- Process Knowledge
