Audiovisual media clerks are familiar with the products and services and the production forms and processes of their own company and the industry as a whole. They carry out clerical, organizational and logistic operations within the framework of planning, producing and marketing audiovisual media, taking account of commercial considerations. They:
- analyse and evaluate concepts, products and services of their company taking account of economic, legal and technical aspects and artistic and design considerations;
- plan the deployment of personnel and material resources for media production;
- explore financing possibilities and carry out calculations;
- advise clients on products and services;
- conduct negotiations with suppliers and clients;
- acquire and exercise rights and licences;
- procure equipment and organize its deployment;
- monitor the market for media products and services;
- develop marketing concepts;
- market their company’s products and services;
- organize the sale of products;
- evaluate key parameters and statistical data for the purposes of performance monitoring;
- use information and communications systems;
- work in a team-oriented and project-oriented manner.
