- New America released a new toolkit, Advancing Equity in and Through Youth Apprenticeship, to help guide apprenticeships as a critical strategy to reduce social inequality and support economic mobility. ren
- S. Department of Labor (DOL) COVID Guidance: COVID guidance for apprenticeship grants and contracts, including for the AAI cohort, is now published on DOL’s COVID webpage. Topics include:
- How can grantees encourage their Registered Apprenticeship program to keep apprentices employed during the COVID-19 crisis?
- For AAI grantees, what are the expectations for employer outreach and activities, which normally require meeting with people?
- Can AAI grantees modify the budget and activities to build new capacity that is more resilient to emergencies like COVID-19?

- LEO Secures $14M Apprenticeship Grant for Michigan (WILX): The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity has been awarded more than $14.3M in DOL grants to support registered apprenticeship programs throughout the state.
- Woz Enterprise Launches Federally Recognized Technology Apprenticeship with University of Phoenix (PR Newswire): Woz Enterprise and University of Phoenix are bringing the technology and education sectors together to launch a DOL registered apprenticeship program to address the widening technology skills gap and put Americans to work.
- PhillyCAM First to Launch National Program to Diversify Media Industry (org): Philadelphia community media center, PhillyCAM, is leading the first Arts2Work pre-apprenticeship program in the country this summer with a goal to set up seven Black and Latinx participants for future opportunities in hard-to-break into media industries like film production and tv writing.
- Bishop State, SSAB, Outokumpu Partner for Apprenticeship Program (Fox10TV): Bishop State Community College is partnering with local steelmakers, SSAB Americas and Outokumpu Americas, to launch the first Electromechanical Technician registered apprenticeship program in Alabama.
