Apprenticeship Resource Corner:
- Cost of Turnover Tool (The Aspen Institute): The Cost of Turnover Tool is a calculator that helps businesses estimate the financial impact of turnover, including both the direct costs of hiring and training, and indirect costs like lost productivity or poor customer service. It’s designed to help businesses and their workforce partners start a conversation about the impact of turnover on the bottom line and how a business can best use its human capital dollars to improve retention and achieve meaningful cost savings.

- Apprenticeship Program to Fill Skilled Jobs Gap (This is Reno): AAI Grantee Truckee Meadows Community College hosted an event where Tesla shared with a group of over 25 employers how apprenticeship has helped expand their skilled workforce.
- Governor DeSantis Announces $1.75 Million to Expand Apprenticeship Programs (Fox 4): Governor DeSantis announced $1.75 million to expand apprenticeship programs across Florida.
- Granite Firm Gets Grant to Revive Apprenticeship Program (The Barre Montpelier Times Argus): Hoping to revive a once-robust program that supplied a skilled workforce for the local granite industry, the Vermont Department of Economic Development has approved a workforce training grant of $40,055 for Buttura & Gherardi Granite Artisans.
